A house reimagined vertically to create three apartments

In Saint-Nicolas, near Liège, this single-family house is transformed into a contemporary three-apartment residential building. The design retains as much of the existing structure as possible while introducing a recessed additional floor, increasing the building’s capacity without overpowering its surroundings. A redesigned façade, generous glazing and terraces strengthen the connection between interior and exterior spaces.
