Architecture
ArchitectANA supports private clients, professionals and investors with architectural projects throughout Belgium. From the initial concept to construction, our team develops functional and technically considered architectural solutions tailored to the planning, technical and budgetary constraints of each project.
We work on new-build, renovation, conversion, extension, change-of-use and planning regularisation projects, including single-family homes, apartment buildings, commercial properties, offices and investment developments.
An integrated architectural approach
Every project begins with an analysis of the building or site, the client’s requirements and the applicable planning regulations. Our objective is to achieve the appropriate balance between architecture, functionality, technical feasibility, budget and regulatory compliance.
Our multidisciplinary approach also allows architectural decisions to be coordinated with matters such as structural engineering, energy performance and construction, helping to identify technical constraints early in the design process.

We can manage the complete architectural mission or individual phases depending on the requirements of the project.
- Feasibility study and planning analysis — Assessment of the development potential of a property or site, including the main planning constraints and opportunities.
- Survey and existing-condition documentation — Survey of the existing building, analysis of the current situation and preparation of the drawings required for the development of the project.
- Architectural concept design — Development of building volumes, layouts, floor areas and architectural principles to establish a coherent proposal adapted to the client’s requirements and budget.
- Planning and building permit applications — Preparation of architectural drawings, administrative documents and supporting information required for submission to the relevant authorities.
- Construction drawings and technical studies — Development of the documents required for construction and coordination with the project’s technical studies.
- Construction site supervision — Monitoring the works and their compliance with the architectural drawings, technical specifications and contractual documents.
New-build, renovation and conversion projects
We design both new buildings and homes and projects involving the renovation, extension, conversion or adaptive reuse of existing buildings.
For existing properties, we analyse the architectural qualities, structural constraints and development potential of the building in order to create an intervention that respects the existing structure while meeting the new requirements of the project.
For new construction, the design takes into account site orientation, plot characteristics, surrounding buildings, energy performance, programme requirements and budget from the earliest stages.

- Do you work throughout Belgium?
- Yes. The practice is based in Liège and works across Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders. Administrative procedures differ by region, and handling that is part of the job.
- Can you take on a single phase of a project?
- Yes. We can carry a whole project or one phase of it — feasibility study, planning file, construction drawings or site supervision — depending on what you need.
- Do you work on existing buildings?
- It is a large part of what we do: full renovation, extension, conversion and change of use. The analysis starts from the qualities, structural constraints and potential of what is there.
