Assessing an existing retaining wall through visible defects and on-site measurements

In Housse, ArchitectANA carried out a technical assessment of a retaining and boundary wall showing several visible cracks and areas of deterioration. The purpose of the investigation was to document the defects accurately, assess their significance and evaluate the apparent condition of the structure.

The technical inspection combined visual examination, photographic documentation and targeted on-site measurements. The main cracks were identified and measured, while the wall geometry and inclination were also checked to provide objective data for the assessment.
