A contemporary extension that transforms the house without erasing its identity

In Herstal, this single-family house is reimagined through a contemporary extension and an extensive energy renovation. The design combines the existing red brick architecture with darker contemporary volumes while reorganising the living spaces and circulation. At the front, a terraced landscape responds to the steep topography and gives the house a renewed architectural presence.
