Supporting the energy-efficient conversion of an existing house into three dwellings
In Vottem, ArchitectANA acts as the Energy Performance Responsible for the complete conversion of a single-family house into three residential units. The project includes a substantial energy renovation of the building envelope to improve thermal performance and bring each dwelling into line with the applicable energy requirements.
The energy performance assignment covers the assessment of wall and roof constructions, façade and roof insulation, the performance of the new windows, residential ventilation and verification of the requirements applicable to each individual unit. The project combines major renovation works with a change of use for one of the dwellings.
The assignment follows the project from defining the required energy performance through to the preparation of the documentation needed to complete the energy performance procedure for all three units.
